| So proud of Tate! He worked very hard on his science project this year. He studied how surfactants affect inherently flame resistant materials. He worked closely with a tech assistant from Globe Manufacturing in New Hampshire and interviewed a fireman and did lots of research online. He had great data and excellent presentation skills. He won second place in his grade at the science fair. He lost first place by 5 points because the "wind" affected the outcome of his results (setting material on fire outside)! |
