Santa's route

The kids set up these houses and made this awesome path on the rooftops using trains to show the route Santa might make on Christmas Eve delivering presents from house to house.

The boys memorized all 46 prepositions...so we had a preposition party!

Garett opened up a bunch of boxes of Christmas decorations. He set the decorations aside and built himself a fort.

Christmas Craft Fair

The kids got to participate in a Craft Fair where they made crafts and sold them to other children. With their money, they got to buy crafts for Christmas presents for their own family. I love this idea of creating and selling and buying for others from the money you earn. They feel like the gifts they give at Christmas truly came from themselves. I love it!

Cousin Skylar got to ride with us to Grandma's house for Thanksgiving. We were all in our glory!

Our camo boy

On our way to Kentucky for Thanksgiving, we told Tate we would stop at Cabella's. If you have never been to Cabella's, it is not a store- it is an experience! He was up for it. We didn't really understand fully his preparations, until we were in the store and realized that he dressed for the occasion. His total camo outfit, was a tribute to his love for all things outdoors.

I was about to bound up the stairs to put some things away when I stumbled on a child plopped down in the middle of the stairs.

Marissa came down for breakfast (having slept in her supergirl outfit) with curlers in her hair and with the added accessory of this hat which I thought was hilarious.

A brother's fashion sense

When your brother dresses you for a cold day, he might dig to the bottom of the barrel for your winter fashions.
