Manners

Marissa was sitting in a chair just before lunch but deserted it to get something. Tate came along and sat down to eat where she had been sitting. When she returned and told him to move, he said, "I'm sitting here." I said to him, "Tate, that was not very gentlemanly." He replied, "Sorry, Marissa. I'm sitting here."

It never occurred to him to actually get up and move!

Go Take A Leap

It was hot and crowded and everybody was jumping in the water at the Air and Water Show. What is the saying about if one person jumps off a tall building, do you do it? I wonder if the same thing is true about jumping in a lake!

We decided to go to the Air and Water Show in Chicago. This is Kevin holding Garett and Marissa on the train.

Little dress I made for Marissa

Dinner

Garett said to me tonight after dinner, "Do we have anything to eat? Like anything worth eating?" I don't think he meant it exactly the way he said it, but in his innocent little way I think he conveyed quite precisely what he meant.
