Cookie Brigade

Marissa and her friend decided they preferred selling cookies to lemonade. Then they took them to the neighborhoods to sell! They sold every single cookie!

Winter or summer?

Marissa cannot decide if it is summer or winter!

Cubs

Kevin took in a Cubs game atop a roof at Wrigley Field.

Church Notes

Notes I discovered between Garett and Marissa at church.

Kevin and the boys got to go see the US play Puerto Rico at Soldier Field last month. It was a big game. I think it was a championship-type game. The guy on the left, Jared, works for Kevin at GE. He is the president of the US soccer fan club and was leading a huge parade through the streets of Chicago to the soccer field. It was a very excited environment and the boys came home having had lots of fun cheering the US on. They won.

Backflip

Garett has been working to perfect his backflip. He's almost there!

Summer Party

This is Marissa hosting a summer party for girls from church. Lots of fun!

University of Michigan

We have been doing a lot of talking about college to the kids. This summer, we have even toured three universities. Just self-guided tours, but an effort to think about how exciting it would be to go to college one day! We stopped at Ann Arbor, Michigan to tour University of Michigan. I took Tate to see Miami University of Oxford, Ohio. And we just visited Northwestern University of Chicago, Illinois (those pictures to follow)!
