Kevin was a "trailer" in the race. He rode his bike on the 15K and made sure the very last racer(s) stayed on course and had support. He followed Marcell, an 86 year old gentleman from our community. It was awesome to see them cross the finish line.
I was honored to be asked to help with the Clinton Township Country Run (a 1 ml, 5K and 15K race). We were so pleased that Garett and Marissa were able to complete the 5K- Tate was on a trip with his Youth Group. I got to be the "yellow-sign-holder-upper" on the Firetruck, do you see me????
Kevin set me up for my birthday by having these kiddos treat me to breakfast in bed, a manicure with Missy and out to dinner at my favorite restaurant. It wasn't the same without him (he had to go out of town on business- Augusta to see the Master's- boo hoo) but we managed just fine. And my birthday extended the entire month of April and into May….
We took a little trip to Philadelphia for Spring Break. We visited the Aquarium, the Constitution Center, the Liberty Bell and went to the ORIGINAL Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich creator- Pat's. Even watched some YouTubers filming about it.
Garett and his friend, Jack, going to the mall. The first time I've ever dropped him off. Not totally okay with it. I did get some shopping done myself and tried not to "bump" into them. :)
