Monster

Grandma Button sent the pattern to make a little doll. You get to pick the body, ears, arms and legs that you want on your doll. Picking out the body parts was pretty easy to decide on, but the kids struggled to find common ground with the fabric. Sooooooooo...... they each picked out fabric they liked and we incorporated it all. Floral ears and feet, St. Patrick's Day green on the arms and a pirate body. Hmmmm....he is pretty interesting!!! Thanks Grandma Button!

"Indian Stuf"

The Smithsonian had sent a note last year that said they would "investigate" whether the items he sent were authentic Indian artifacts. Tate has been waiting this year to hear back from them. He finally got his letter back, as well as the artifacts, the original letter and some "interoffice" post-its.

This is a note Tate wrote to the Smithsonian last spring.

Moby Dick

Garett loved Moby Dick- so I needed to capture his enthusiasm with a picture!

Napolean

We were reading about Napolean and Garett got excited and decided to map it out on the board. Tate took this picture.

Marissa decided to pick up all the pinecones in the yard. She picked out some gloves and boots and the Red Rider and got busy. The wagon was completely full! Good job, Little Missy!

Some nights, we have to revert to the extreme to get the kids to bed. It was Dad's job this night.

Unshaven

This is my mother-in-law's son who is unshaven for 2 weeks now. He did shave it, but it was quite a change!!!

Supergirl

Supergirl talks on the phone to Superfriend any opportunity she gets! Superfriend let her borrow these red sparkly shoes and now she can go to Oz whenever she wants.
